Askew Business Network Goes Green in February

Hear a talk by garden designer Dan Back on creating your own oasis

The Askew Business Network's February Meeting will include a talk by garden designer Dan Back on making the most of your small London garden.

The meeting will be on February 18 from 6pm - 8.30p at the Greyhound pub in Becklow Road and Dan will speak at 7pm with general networking afterwards.

Most London gardens are small, a fact of city life. Yet it’s possible to create your own personal oasis. Come and hear successful local garden designer Dan Back talk about developing a space and planting for effect whatever the size of your plot.

Dan has gardened since childhood, helping out his mother and neighbours. He trained at the Pickard School of Gardening Design, then at the Museum of Gardening History in Lambeth. Dan now runs his own garden design business as well as a garden servicing operation. His team can be seen travelling ‘greenly’ between clients on specially adapted bicycles.

Anyone living or working in the Askew Road area is welcome to come along and entry is free - just order your food or drink at the bar and join in.
