Askew Business Network Holds Summer Party BBQ

Promising a magical evening at Phoenix Farm on September 3

The Askew Business Network are inviting local people to join them on Saturday September 3  a late summer BBQ at Phoenix Farm.

The network promise another magical evening set in the enchanting farm gardens in the heart of Shepherd's Bush.

Food and wine will be served from the pop-up kitchen and bar with seating set amongst an abundance of (Royal Horticultural Society award winning!) late summer bloom. All the proceeds from this event will be donated to the running of the school’s fruit and veg garden – thereby continuing to help keep this fantastic project alive.

Ben Tish and Dan Sherlock have put together a delicious menu using ingredients grown on the farm and served straight from the grill – under a canopy of beautiful festoon lighting.

Highlights from this year’s menu include Grilled Leg of Salt Marsh lamb, Salt Yard Chorizo Paella and a Buttermilk Panna Cotta with Phoenix Garden Gooseberry and Elderflower Compote.

The BBQ takes place between 4 – 9pm on Saturday September 3. Tickets are priced at £40 per person and include all the food you can eat and a welcome cocktail. A selection of other drinks can be bought from the bar.

There will also be a chance to bid in the silent auction – hosted by co-founder Simon Mullins. Amongst the lots on offer are tickets to the Royal Opera House, a family day out at the Natural History Museum’s ice rink and a private masterclass from Daniele, the network's very own wine guru!

For more information and to book your ticket please email Ewelina on info@saltyard.co.uk or call on 0207 637 0657.

Askew Business Network say: " We hope you decide to join us for what should again prove to be a wonderful late summer’s evening!"
