Man Hit by Train at Shepherd's Bush Market Station


Treated for serious injuries but later sadly pronounced dead


A man died on Thursday, 16 March after being hit by a train at Shepherd's Bush Market Underground station.

British Transport Police says that officers from BTP were called to the station just before 1pm and attended alongside colleagues from the London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade.

BTP said: " A man was treated for serious injuries at the scene, but despite best efforts was later sadly pronounced dead.

"Officers are now working to identify the man and inform his family. This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner. "
