Third Arrest Made in Askew Road Shooting Investigation
16 year-old boy released on bail until early December
Detectives investigating the murder of a Romanian man in Askew Road have made a third arrest.
Police say a 16 year-old boy was arrested on Sunday, 30 October on suspicion of the murder of 28 year-old Ionut Lazar at a residential address in Askew Road, W12 on Saturday, 22 October.
He was taken into custody at a south London police station but released on Monday, 31 October on bail until a date in early December, pending further enquiries.
One man has previously been charged with Ionut's murder.
Hanad Mohamed, 18 of Parlaunt Road, Slough is currently remanded in custody and was due to appear at the Old Bailey on Monday, 31 October.
He is also charged with one count of robbery on a second male, committed on Saturday, 22 October.
A second person arrested - a 17 year-old boy arrested in west London on Thursday, 27 October on suspicion of murder - was released with no further action.
Mohamed appeared in custody at West London Magistrates' Court on Friday, 28 October and was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Monday, 31 October.

Ionut Lazar, wasa Romanian national who arrived in the country just two days before his death.
Police were called to the scene by paramedics at approximately 2.40am when they found Mr Lazar unconscious. He was later pronounced dead at the scene. St. Elmo Road and Becklow Road were both cordoned off with police tape info Saturday afternoon as forensic officers searched the area.
A post mortem showed that Mr Lazar was shot rather than stabbed as police had initially believed.
Staff at Nisa Local in Askew Road were reported in the Evening Standard as saying they saw a "badly beaten" man rushing into the store sometime after 2am on Saturday.
