Police Investigating Ionut Lazar's Murder Hunt for Two Local Men


Three already charged with shooting of Romanian in Askew Road in October

Police investigating the murder of Ionut Lazar in Askew Road in Shepherd's Bush have today, Tuesday, 18 April, released images of two men wanted in connection with the incident.

Nadir Munasa, left, and Adam Adeniranr, right are wanted in connection with the murder of the 28 year-old victim who was fatally shot only two days after arriving in the UK from Romania.

Police say that on Saturday, 22 October 2016 they were called by London Ambulance Service at 2.40am to reports of a male unconscious at a residential address in Askew Road, W12.

Officers attended and Ionut was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He died at the scene a short while later.

A post-mortem examination took place at 9am on Monday, 24 October at Fulham Mortuary and established the cause of death as a bullet wound to the chest.

The two men detectives are keen to trace and speak with in connection with the incident are:

Adam Adeniran, 23, of Lakeside Road, W14. He is described as a black male, about 5ft 10ins, of slim build, with a short black afro, a brown beard and a scar half-an-inch in length on the bridge of his nose. He has links to the Westminster and west London area.

Nadir Munasar, 22, of White City Estate, W12. He is described as a black male, about 5ft 9ins, of slim build, with short dark hair.

Adeniran and Munasar should not be approached by members of the public.

Three men have already been charged with murder the murder of Ionut Lazar, with the third, Yousef Mohamud, 21, of St Marks Road, W10 arrested on Thursday, 6 April and charged with murder on 7 April.

He appeared in custody at Bromley Magistrates Court on Saturday, 8 April

Two men have previously been charged with Ionut's murder - Hanad Mohamed, 18, of Slough and Sufyan ElBakali, 21, from Kilburn.

Both are currently remanded in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey.

A provisional trial date has been set for Monday, 3 July.
