25-Year-Old Man Stabbed in Shepherd's Bush


Required surgery after receiving knife wound to the leg

A 25-year-old man was stabbed this Monday evening (20 February) on a normally quiet residential street near Wormwood Scrubs.

Paramedics contacted the police after they found the man lying face down in the the middle of Bentworth Road receiving assistance from members of the public at around 4pm. He had suffered a stab wound to his left leg.

He was conscious and breathing but was taken immediately to a central London hospital and required surgery. His injures are not thought to be life-threatening.

Officers from Hammersmith and Fulham CID are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information about the incident to contact them.
