At community day on Shepherd's Bush Green on Friday
The Metropolitan Police Safer Transport unit, based at Shepherds Bush Police station in Uxbridge Road are holding a Community and Emergency Services Day from 1pm – 5pm on Friday 26 July.
This free event will be located near the war memorial end of Shepherds Bush Green and everyone is invited to come along and say hello to a line-up of emergency service units and local community organisations.
They include:
Exchanging Places (Bike safety display)
London Fire Brigade
British Transport Police
Met Police Special Constables
Met Police Cadets
Met Police Dog Section
Parks Police
TSG with two Pc’s attending
Chinese and South East Asian Police Association
QPR Community Trust
Features of the events will include:
Emission Testing with two demo cars (Ferrari and Rolls Royce)
Heritage Car from Hendon
LAS historic Ambulance
Speed Gun to promote Community Roadwatch (CRW)
There will also be refreshments, advice from a Hammersmith & Fulham Council Road Safety Officer and the Community Team from Hammersmith / Fulham council giving out advice regarding Hate Crimes etc.
There will also be free goodies for the children visiting on the day including colouring books., pencils, stickers, balloons and road safety booklets.
