Time To Play


Have a look at plans for new play equipment in local parks

Residents being are invited to have a look at the new play areas being planned for local parks and green spaces.

Over £1m has been earmarked by the council to spend on natural and adventurous play equipment, embracing natural features such as grassy mounds, sand and climbing
boulders to give children more opportunities to play freely and creatively.

Designs for the following local parks can be viewed on the following dates:

Cathnor Park: View plans at Shepherd's Bush Library and Askew Library from Wednesday
December 2 to Monday December 7
. There will also be a special drop-in session at Askew Library on Wednesday December 2, from 4pm to 7pm.

Hammersmith Park: View plans at Shepherd's Bush Library from Tuesday December 1 to
Monday December 7
. Discuss the ideas with experts on Tuesday December 1 at the same
location, between 4pm and 7pm.

Old Oak Common: Look at plans at Old Oak Common community centre from December 2 to
December 7
. There will be a drop-in session on December 2, from 4pm to 7pm.

Ravenscourt Park: Plans will be on show in the foyer of Hammersmith Town Hall and Hammersmith Library from December 2 to December 7. Chat through the plans with experts at the Town Hall on December 3, from 4pm to 7pm.
