Goldhawk Road Station Closed Due to 'Concerns for Welfare of a Man'

No threat to public but tube shut and people advised to avoid area

The ongoing incident has led to the tube station and road being closed by police.

London Fire Brigade, London Ambulance and the police are all on the scene, and a helicopter is flying above the area. A police drone has also been deployed.

Police say they at Wells Road, 'dealing with reports of concern for the welfare of a man'. Wells Road has been closed.

H&F Council has issued an emergency alert over the incident, saying: "Due to an ongoing police operation in Goldhawk Road, the bus station and Goldhawk Road tube station are currently closed and local traffic is being diverted.

"There is no threat to the public - but please avoid the area. London Fire Brigade, police and ambulance services are on the scene."
