Music festival organisers announce thousands raised for Oxfam

Oxjam - Oxfam's annual multi venue music festival which took over four of Shepherd's Bush's favourite venues on Saturday October 12 - raised over £5,000 for the charity.

Organisers of the festival said on their Facebook page: " We are proud to announce that we reached our fundraising target of over £5,000 for Oxfam.

" This money will make so much difference and we want to thank the ticket buyers, the venues, the performers, Fullers, Pedalo, Event Concept, West 12, Terrace and Westfield presents."

Oxjam has become an annual tradition in Shepherd's Bush, offering a day long array of up and coming musical talent, with over 40 acts performing across four key locations.

The festivities also included stand-up comedy, street food stalls, games, prizes and more.

The event is part of Oxfam’s month long music festival offering local events across the UK,w ith all proceeds going to support Oxfam's life saving work around the globe to eradicate poverty.
