Fun event includes 13 classes for canines plus three activity challenges
The Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre is holding its Spring Dog Show on Saturday May 17 from 11.45am onwards.
The show will be held indoors and dogs can be entered into any of 13 classes:
Class 1 Child's Best Friend
Class 2 Prettiest Bitch
Class 3 Good looking Dog
Class 4 Funniest looking dog
Class 5 Man/Lady's Best Friend
Class 6 Rescued Dog
Class 7 Best pair of dogs
Class 8 Veteran 7 years +
Class 9 Best Puppy under 14 months
Class 10 Dog in best condition
Class 11 Dog with the most appealing eyes
Class 12 Spring Fancy Dress
Class 13 Waggiest Tail Sponsored by Wagg's dog food
There will also be three activity classes:
A Fastest recall
B Basic obedience
C Fastest retrieve
Rules
All dogs must be kept on a lead unless competing in the activity classes.
All owners/handlers are totally responsible at all times for the behaviour of their dogs.
Owners/handlers must prevent their dogs from entering into any aggressive behaviour either with another dog or with a human. Aggressive dogs are not permitted to come to the show.
The organisers says this is a family fun event so please do not expect to be at a Crufts style dog show!
Entry fees of £3 per class will be taken on the day and all funds raised will go to Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre Riding for the Disabled.
