Want To Eat Out For A Fiver?

New scheme launched to boost local restaurants

A new initiative has been launched to encourage people to eat out and give a much-needed boost to local restaurants.

From 12-18 October, several Shepherd's Bush restaurants will be offering diners a special £5 lunch and £10 two course meal as part of the national 'dine' campaign.

It is hoped the scheme will increase the restaurant trade in the local area as well as giving some light relief to credit crunched households.

Robert Kusy, owner of the Tatra Restaurant in Goldhawk Road said: “This is a great opportunity for people in Shepherd's Bush and those visiting the town to sample the many great restaurants in the area for a great price. Dine is a national initiative with local benefits and we are delighted to be part of the dine scheme and are confident it will be a great success.”

Local restaurants which have signed up to the dine initiative include: Bamboo House (Chinese), Jumbucks (Australian), Nubian Taste (Caribbean), Red Sea (African & Middle Eastern), Ritz Greek Grill (Greek), Tatra (Polish), Vine Leaves Tavern (Greek) and Woody Grill (Turkish).

Each restaurant will offer a different dine menu and there is no need to collect any vouchers.
