Taking to the pitch in the West End Cup Quarter Final, local Sunday League team Shepherd's Bush United were astonished to find themselves being cheered on by none other than David Beckham.

David dropped in unannounced on the team's match again Maro FC, which saw SB United continue their winning streak, beating their rivals by three goals to one.

After the match, he posed for pictures with the team, who later thanked him by sending a tweet to his wife Victoria, which read: 'thanks to ur husband for making our players day today with a photo! incredible!'.

Under the watchful eye of David Beckham, Shepherds Bush United FC worked hard to seal victory and set up a semi final v FC Furance.
