Spring price recovery continues
The average price of a property sold in the W12 post code area during May 2010 was £474,698. This is one of the highest monthly averages ever recorded for Shepherd's Bush.
This confirms the price recovery seen during April when prices moved well ahead of the £408,000 average seen during the first quarter. The rise in prices was accompanied by a rise in volumes.
Higher priced properties remained in demand with two homes in Flanchford Road selling for over £1,000,000.
The average house price for England and Wales in May was £165,314, down by 0.2% from the previous month and up by 8.2% compared with the previous year, and the average house price for London was £338,708, up by 14.2% compared with the same time last year.
