Backyard Cinema Gets Its Forever Home In Wandsworth

At the old Capital Studios building in the Ram Quarter

It’s brought us LA nights, lost worlds and snow kingdoms in locations all over town, and now Backyard Cinema has found a permanent home for its immersive screenings.

The company is taking over the former TV studios in the Ram Quarter in Wandsworth Town, and with 250 seats it’s going to be the biggest Backyard Cinema venue yet.

To celebrate its new home, Backyard Cinema is bringing back one of its most loved themes, the Winter Night Garden (pictured above) which will be hidden behind a magical wardrobe entrance. The programme is a mix of new releases, sing-a-longs and old faves, including Aladdin, Rocketman, The Goonies, Cool Runnings, True Romance, The Greatest Showman and Space Jam.

Backyard Cinema in the Ram Quarter opens on Friday 13th September in the old Capital Studios at 13 Wandsworth Plain.
