Man Shot Dead in Loftus Road

Gunned down whilst unloading Christmas shopping

Three people have been arrested following the fatal shooting of a man in Shepherd's Bush on Christmas Eve. They include two youths aged 15 and 16 and a 24-year -old man.

Police have named the victim as 20-year-old Craig Brown.

Officers were called to reports of a man shot in Loftus Road, W12 at around 16.50 on 24th December. The man was pronounced dead at the scene at 17.32.

At this early stage police believe the victim had returned from a shopping trip and had just parked his car in Loftus Road. As he unloaded goods from the car he was approached by two men who shot him before making off on foot towards Queens Park Rangers football ground.

An incident room has opened under DCI John MacKenzie from Operation Trident.
