Two More Charged With Loftus Road Murder

Four now in custody over Christmas Eve shooting

Two men appeared at West London Magistrates' Court this morning (May 8) charged with the murder of Craig Brown in Loftus Road on Christmas Eve.

21-year-old Khalid El-Sheikh of Adie Road, Hammersmith, W6 was charged with murder and firearms offences. He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at the Old Bailey.

Another 21-year-old, Adil Saed of Baird House, White City Estate, W12 was also charged with murder. He was remanded in custody and is also due to appear at the Old Bailey.

Both men previously appeared at West London Magistrates' Court on December 30, 2008 accused of the murder of 20-year-old Craig Brown in Loftus Road last Christmas Eve.

Two youths - a 16-year-old male and a 15-year-old male - were also charged at the end of last year.
They were remanded in custody with a trial scheduled to begin in early August.

Craig Brown was shot dead in the W12 street in December as he unloaded Christmas presents from his car.

At a subsequent neighbourhood watch meeting, local police reassured residents, saying violent crimes of this nature were extremely rare.
