Woman Robbed in Ravenscourt Park


Police seek information about attack on Friday evening

 

A woman was robbed in Ravenscourt Park after coming out of the tube station on Friday, July 20 at around 9.15pm.

Police say the woman had just entered Ravenscourt Park from the entrance closest to when she heard two people behind her.

One of them asked her for a cigarette and she replied that she did not smoke. One of the suspects started getting closer to her and when the victim tried to walk away, one of the attackers hit her around five times from behindwith what police describe as a hard item, while shouting and swearing at the victim.

As the victim tried to run away she was hit again and one of the attackers demanded her bag. After she handed over the bag the two robbers ran off.

The first suspect is described as a mixed race female and the second as a darker skinned female. They were both wearing dark clothing and hooded tops and spoke with London accents.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where her
injuries were treated.
