Woman Identified after Appeal over Goldhawk Road Station Attack


British Transport Police thank public for help with "valuable information"

British Transport Police say a woman has been identified following their appeal for witnesses to an unprovoked attack on a woman at Goldhawk Road London Underground station.

The incident happened around 6pm on Sunday, October 12 when the victim was leaving the station.

Making the appeal, Detective Constable Oliver Carne said:
" The 26-year-old victim, a Polish national, was approached by a man and a woman, who both questioned her about her nationality.

" The woman was then punched and kicked a number of times, leaving her with bruising and swelling to the right side of her face."

Now officers say they would like to thank the media and members of the public after witnesses have come forward with information.

DC Carne said: " We have received valuable information and would like to thank the media and members of the public for their help."
