Water Restored Overnight to Shepherd's Bush Following Thursday's Flood

Thames Water say low pressure should improve this morning

Thames Water say the burst water main which caused extensive flooding around Shepherd's Bush Green and the water supply to thousands of local homes being shut off has been fixed overnight and the water supply restored.

Though many people are still experiencing low pressure this morning, Thames Water say this should improve throughout the day.

You can follow up to the minute reports on the situation at Thames Water on Twitter and on the website.

On Thursday Thames Water released a statement to local people in W12 and W3 on their Twitter Feed @ThamesWater saying:
" Sorry to customers affected by a burst water pipe on Uxbridge Road in W12.

" Our team is working hard to reroute water around our network of pipes to get supplies back to normal as quickly as possible. We have a separate team working to fix the pipe.

"We believe the pipe was damaged by a third party and will be fully investigating what happened."
