Counting Underway at Hammersmith Town Hall

Council staff are counting votes from both our local constituencies

After the polls closed at 10pm this evening, counting is now underway at Hammersmith Town Hall for votes from our two local constituencies - Hammersmith and Chelsea and Fulham.

The count follows a busy day at polling stations across the borough.

Among those making an early visit to Askew Road Library polling station were Lady Crumble, pictured above, tweeted by Westie @Westie_63.

In Chelsea and Fulham, five candidates at standing and in Hammersmith, six candidates are standing.

There are also two by-elections in Avonmore and Brook Green in Hammersmith and Sands End in Fulham.

The result in Hammersmith is expected between 3am and 4am tomorrow morning while the result in Chelsea and Fulham is expected to follow within the hour.

Hammersmith and Fulham Council says its staff ran the polling stations throughout the borough and are now counting all votes from the whole of those two constituencies.
