Police appeal for witnesses
A cyclist was stabbed in a vicious attack in Goldhawk Road last Saturday (June 20).
Police say the victim, a 39-year-old white man, was cycling along the pavement when he was set upon at the junction with Devonport Road, outside the Nubian Taste Restaurant.
He was attacked by three youths who were seen punching and kicking him while he lay on the ground. The victim received multiple stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital and is said to be recovering well.
The suspects are described as three black men in their late teens or early 20s, and were wearing a blue/green hooded top, a white T-shirt and a cream coloured jacket respectively.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident.
