As Event Director for the parkrun in Chichester, I know that getting the roster filled every week can be quite a task sometimes, so please do volunteer if you can, don't forget there are roles where you can both volunteer and run, and you get the lovely purple t-shirt for volunteering 25 times! It really does make life a lot easier for the Run Director to have the roster nice and full early on.

Just to introduce a little something we do in the Chichester run reports, I'd like to award "aesthetically pleasing time of the week" to Gill Tamplin for the palindromic 43:34, good work Gill! Your prize, enjoy a free 5k timed event around Wormwood Scrubs park next week (or the week after...)

As a parkrun tourist, I had a lovely time with you guys today, everyone was so friendly, and you have a beautiful course (although I understand it can be a little trickier when it's wet!).

If I get into the London Marathon again in 2018, I look forward to seeing you all again!
