Paul Hart departs after just five games
The Queens Park Rangers Team Manager, who began his job less than a month ago, has left Loftus Road, the Club says.
Former Portsmouth manager, Paul Hart, took up his post in the middle of December, after the departure of Jim Magilton.
But an announcement on the QPR website on Friday (January 15) says he has exited the Club: "The Club can confirm that Manager Paul Hart has decided to leave Queens Park Rangers Football Club with immediate effect.
"Assistant Manager Mick Hartford will be taking charge of First Team affairs, starting with this weekend's Championship fixture at Blackpool."
The Club gives no explanation for Hart's sudden departure after just five games, but some news reports suggest he fell out with the Club's board over transfers. There is also speculation that he had an argument with on-loan midfielder, Adel Taarabt.
In his short stint at the helm, Hart presided over one victory, two draws and two defeats. He leaves QPR in tenth position in the table.
Hart replaced Jim Magilton who was suspended from the Club last month following allegations that he had head-butted one of his players. Magilton strenuously denied the allegations.
Paul Hart was the sixth new boss at QPR in two years after John Gregory, Luigi De Canio, Iain Dowie, Paulo Sousa and Jim Magilton.
