The Troubadour White City is closing its first show, Peter Pan on 1 September, almost two months before the original closing date of 27 October.

This means people who had bought tickets for September or October must now claim refunds from external ticket providers.

This production was the first from the 'pop-up' theatre outside White City Place on the corner of Wood Lane and South Africa Road.

The National Theatre, BOS Productions and Runaway Entertainment, the producers of Peter Pan currently playing at Troubadour White City Theatre made the announcement that the production will close on Sunday 1 September after six weeks of performances.

No apology was made or explanation provided for the decision, though despite generally positive reviews, this show has had a number of problems.

The opening night's performance was cancelled at short notice due to technical problems, and on Friday, 16 August, another show was cancelled at short notice, with the theatre tweeting: "Due to cast indisposition, tonight's performance of @PeterPanLDN at Troubadour White City Theatre has been cancelled at short notice. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience and disappointment caused."
