An immersive stage production based on the movies of Quentin Tarantino is coming the Riverside Studios this summer, the first time it will be performed in Europe.
Tarantino Live: Fox Force Five & The Tyranny of Evil Men will start a ten-week season at Studio 2 in the Hammersmith venue on 6 June running until 13 August. Tickets go on general sale on 25 April, a waitlist is already open for those particularly keen to get tickets.
The show is a one-of-a-kind, adrenaline-fueled, genre-bending theatrical performance, combining Tarantino’s most iconic film scenes with live rock 'n' roll renditions of songs pulled straight from his film albums. It is described as less a traditional movie-based musical, more a character driven concert that merges the world of Hollywood and musical theatre into a 360-degree live-concert experience. The diverse company of artists from stage, record and screen will be announced in the coming weeks.
Follow the “Fox Force Five”—a group of fierce female superwomen popularized by Pulp Fiction—as they join forces to take care of business and fight the Tyranny of Evil Men with Tarantino’s soundtrack in the background.
The show, which encompasses Tarantino’s entire cinematic universe spanning over 30 years, is a spiderweb of hitmen, gangsters and assassins performing vinyl classics like “Son of a Preacher Man,” “Stuck in the Middle With You,” “Bang Bang,” and many more.

Studio 2 will be transformed into a cinematic, rock n roll playground where the sights, sounds, and even the flavours take inspiration from the Tarantino Universe. From the setlist to the drink list, Tarantino Live aims to be a total sensory experience that comes in a variety of Reservoir Dog coloured tiers. Audiences can choose from “Mr. Brown” and “Mr. Pink” for the most accessible levels (£29-£39), or “Mr. Black” for stage-side VIP table seating with drink service.
In 2010, For The Record began producing shows in a 60-seat bar in Hollywood and has featured the works of directors such as John Hughes, Baz Luhrmann, The Coen Brothers, Paul Thomas Anderson, Martin Scorsese, Robert Zemeckis, and Garry and Penny Marshall.
Shane Scheel, Executive Producer and co-creator of For the Record, said, “We have long been searching for the perfect opportunity to introduce For The Record to London. We are thrilled to bring the show to Riverside Studios, where the arts intersect in a historic film studio, and be a part of their rich history. Our team is enthusiastic about bringing our distinctive style of immersive theatre to London audiences and becoming a part of the vibrant creative community."
The production lasts for two hours and 15 minutes and will be performed Tuesday to Sunday with matinees at the weekends. Tickets will be available from £29.
