Tips and Hints from Hammersmith Academy

Even if you have no previous experience of video making, there are several sources of free software for editing video & audio.

For example, download Windows Live Movie Maker, for free. Import photos and videos from your PC or camera into Movie Maker and start making movies.

Just pick the photos and videos you want to use, and Movie Maker does the rest. Make your movie look like you want it to, with editing tools that let you easily trim, split, and speed up or slow down sections of your movie. Add and edit your movie's soundtrack. Adjust the volume, fade music in or out, to taste. Add special effects and captions, if you wish, to really make it memorable.

Use your video to get your message across!

Educate, inform and entertain your audience with your creativity and your interpretation of the theme, City Dreams. It doesn’t have to be very long, most TV ads are one minute or less, the choice however is yours, let your imagination inspire you!

We look forward to hearing from you. Good luck!
