Former Crystal Palace boss takes the helm at Loftus Road
Neil Warnock is the new manager of Queens Park Rangers, the Club have announced.
Warnock has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract at Loftus Road and replaces caretaker manager Mick Hartford.
The new appointment comes after Club Chairman Flavio Briatore stood down last month and was replaced by Ishan Saksena.
"Neil was always our number one target and and so we are delighted to announce him as our manager," said Saksena.
"He has great experience in English football and a phenomenal track record. I believe he is the right man to help QPR achieve its ambitions. Neil will be given the full support of the Board and I know our fans will give him their full back as well."
Mick Hartford, who has been the Club's caretaker manager since Paul Hart left in January, stepped down from his role.
"I was more than happy to help the club out when they asked me and I did the best I could during my time in caretaker charge," said Hartford.
"The club needs an experienced manager in order to move forward and I will Neil every success. He has joined a fantastic football club with brilliant supporters and I sincerely hope he does well," he said.
Warnock left Crystal Palace to take over at Loftus Road - while Paul Hart, who was briefly QPR's manager at the beginning of this year, has been appointed Crystal Palace boss.
When Hart left QPR in January after just five games, he was the Club's eight boss since Briatore's arrival, after John Gregory, Luigi De Canio, Iain Dowie, Gareth Ainsworth, Paulo Sousa, Jim Magilton, Steve Gallen and Marc Bircham.
