The teenage boy who was stabbed in broad daylight near QPR's stadium in White City street is now out of danger.

Police have confirmed that the 18 year-old is no longer in a critical condition, but is now stable and recovering in hospital.

There were fears for the teen's life after he was attacked in Willow Vale, a residential area near Uxbridge Road, and close to the Little People of Willow Vale nursery.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital and a crime scene remained in place on Wednesday afternoon.

This was the second serious stabbing incident in Shepherd's Bush in just over a week. In the previous incident a man was stabbed in the neck near the Westfield Shopping Centre on 28 October.

Police say no arrests have yet been made and they continue to investigate.
